awkward chinese buffet outing

I went to a chinese buffet tonight in Albany. My friend Mike and I decided to go against better judgment...The food was terrible and obviously sitting out for hours, maybe even all day. But this was not the best part of the journey. We sat down and as we ate our subpar meal I heard that Whitney Houston song from the Bodyguard playing in the background...A slow guitar version of it anyway. Mike did not realize but I kept laughing while I was eating and he finally asked...And I told him what it was and it took him a few seconds to realize. The following act was Titanic. Then the closing song was Anything I do...I do it for you, by Bryan Adams. This one really tied the meal up nicely. The entire time we just sat and tried our best not to pay attention, but it was kind of hard, because we were the only people in the place and it was just such datey music. When I started to sing the lyrics to the Bryan Adams one I found a piece of hair in my ice cream...and then we pretty much left. I think the overwhelming awkwardness of it though just made my night complete.
