Me writie wordies
Commercial attitude and comedy do not always agree with each other. To make great comedy you have to steer away from something considered "normal" a good amount of the time. That's why a baby with a vagina for a head is hilarious. I'm going to create a few more tv pilot ideas and implement them. Right now we're working on the second episode of Redeeming Rainbow which is now going to be entitled "The Upset Triangle Presents". We're moving the focus off of rainbow. Placing the focus towards the world of the upset triangle and it's main character's Dan and Pat. Future plans for the Upset Triangle thus far:
-Episode 2: "The Upset Triangle Presents: The Wizard's Curse?"
We've shot a little less than half of the script but what we have so far is great and I've hurt myself laughing. Pat cried laughing but that was over the old story of alex zuhowskie jumping out of the second floor of the middle school and running home. The style of this episode is moving away from the mockumentary format I've been comfortable working in. Now that the characters are established I believe this episode will kill people with it's LSD enlaced comedy.
-The Upset Triangle's Last Sketch Show
It's been on the table for a while. It's time to get it done and over with. So far it's been written out but who knows. It's a crazy sketch show that makes fun of sketch comedy. The premise is that it's our last sketch show and we decided to perform it in NYC because all our past performances have been in Jersey City at "Rascals: Jersey City", which closed down. We've gotten so huge in Jersey City that we decided to bring our show to the big apple. The Mayor is very upset.
-The Calderons Webisodes
I've teamed up with Joe Narcisco(split the difference, www.joenarcisco.com) to start working on a new pilot for the calderons with a different set up. If the plan works out, it could be an unbelievable amazing project.
-Episode 3: "The Upset Triangle Presents: Back in Time"
This episode has been outlined. It's going to be fantastic if we decide to make it.
-The Upset Triangle Movie
This has been in the works for about two years, a lot of the ideas for the movie influenced the creation of Redeeming Rainbow. If it were made it'd have to be hilarious.
-The Long Walk
A documentary about a walk,a project me and Pat could spearhead into creation.
-Gas Mask
A narrative about a suburban dad who decides to put a gas mask on and never take it off. Could be good for PITtv.
-Werewolves of Thunder
A mockumentary about a middle aged loser biker gang from the suburbs who try to raise enough money for a children's hospital.
-The Library project.
I've been thinking about this on and off for a while, not sure.
Too many ideas, so little time. The Upset Triangle is huge and powerful so it can all be done.
